Texas Hill Country Windows

Texas Hill Country Practicality, Elegance and Value

We are still a family & friends – even more so! Daniel is back!! My son left us to work in the medical field and he’s back (I think he just wanted to come back home : )  His BA in Business Administration at UT is coming in handy. Kenny Barerra – our installer par excellence – attends another Certification Training Program in Denver next week. And Scott Keeney, our neighbor is with us now. Scott had his own business selling window treatments and art (he paints landscapes and sources original art and concert posters) in Idaho. Barbara, his wife, didn’t want to leave Austin, so they stayed. Yippee! Scott is Certified as a Designer and Installer with Hunter Douglas and has worked as a Design Consultant and Home Automation Consultant.

NEW THINGS

I’ve seen some excellent mixes of shutters (streetside) and shades recently – especially on some huge, windows overlooking super views. We put Shutters on the street and shades everywhere else. Mostly the shade designs have been Designer Roller Shades and Silhouettes – to keep the view, while assuring privacy, UV protection and the ability to cut that Central Texas glare.

WHEN? Is it going to rain?

Please feel free to give me a call with any question or just to say Hi!
